Your GP and You: Important Information

We want to make sure you get the best care possible. Every patient now has a main doctor, called a named GP, who helps look after their care and makes sure the right services are provided.

How to Know Who Your Named GP Is

You will be told when you register who your named GP is. If you'd like know in person, you can ask the receptionist the next time you visit. There’s no need to call to ask about your named GP.

Can You Choose Your Named GP?

If you would prefer a different GP, let us know. We’ll do our best to make it happen.

Can You See Other Doctors?

Yes! Even though you have a named GP, you can still see any doctor in the Practice when you need to. Your named GP may not always be available, so it’s fine to see another doctor when needed.
